I finally remembered to take my camera with me when we went to downtown Baumholder yesterday. We only walked the main road, got something to eat, had ice-cream ( see here ), and dropped my wedding set off at a jewelry shop to get a quote on having my diamond replaced (I go back on Friday to get the prices and pick a diamond).

We found this little "bridge" thing that you can walk out onto that overlooks a little park-like area with a [neglected] pond.
And HOORAY! I found another Thrift Shop! I have yet to come across it when it's actually open though... maybe someday soon I'll drag our butts downtown early enough to make it there.
