**Happy 25th Anniversary**

Whew! I'm telling you the last few days I've felt like a huge weight has been lifted! Just when I was about to snap too, so it's a good thing. Now that I at least helf-way know what's going on, I can move on and start to make some plans! So this is what I have kinda come up with! :)

May 23 - Terry's Going Away & Nathyn's 3rd Birthday Party!
- Because Terry will be gone for Nathyn's birthday, we have decided to hold it the weekend before he leaves. We'll probably have a BBQ/potluck type thing for Terry and organize a few fun games & activities for the kids. It'll be lots of fun and Terry will love getting everyone together one least time before heading of to training.

May 27 - Terry's Ship Date!

July 3 - My last day at work (full-time).
- I'm hoping to be able to stay part time until Terry returns, I'll miss my kiddies too much to just up and leave!

September - Terry should be done with Basic
- around mid September and heading home for a couple weeks to prepare for the move! I'm thinking we'll leave Sacramento around the end of September to the beginning of October.

That's all I know right now. Of course there are lots of things I want to do before we move (i.e. visit family, go to a country concert with Melissa, weekend in San Francisco, LOTS of rafting) but I'll get to that all later. For now, this is what I know, and I'm VERY excited!

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Terry did it! He's in! He picked his job and they still had what he wanted, 21Bravo [Combat Engineer] and his new ship date is May 27, 2009. AH! It's good that I get TWO months with him, but BAD as far as income goes. Anyways, I'm excited. Terry's excited. We're both nervous as hell! We've decided that we're going to have Nathyn's birthday party that weekend before (so Terry can be there) and we'll have a BBQ and stuff so it'll be like a birthday/going away party! It's gonna be fun! I'm thankful for these two months, I have to get all the kisses in I can. ;) I guess this means I'm an Army Wife now...

HOLY SMOKIES!

We finally got the call!! Terry goes to the hotel tonight and in the morning will be taken to MEPS. He has to re-do the physical just to make sure he hasn't gained to much weight [cross your fingers lol] and then.... HE SWEARS IN! Hooray!

Because it's the first question I've gotten from the people that know already, I'll explain this.. Terry had already picked his job and had a date to leave for Basic and AIT. Because he failed the physical, he lost the date AND his job. So he has to re-pick a job [and hope the one he had picked before is still available] and when he chooses one, then he'll get a new date that he'll leave.

He'll be back tomorrow evening, so I will post his date and job tomorrow after work!

SAN FRANCISCO!

This was only my second trip to San Francisco and it was SO fun! I had only been one time before but that was on a school field trip so it was neat to actually get to walk around more. It was a short trip this time so we only walked Pier 39, but I'm super mega excited that my Aunt Tina and I are planning a weekend trip so that we can see more of what The City has to offer. It was so cool!

MY PUPPY BOY...

Toby passed away this evening. It was a very sad event for us. He had been acting a little funny but when he started choking and gasping for air we decided to take him to the vet. On the way there Toby took his last breath. I'm gonna miss my puppy boy! :[

SLACKERS!

So today I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown! I'm completely on edge, snappy at people (not good for my profession!) and EVERYTHING is getting on my last nerve! I messaged Terry and told him that he should go INTO the recruiting office and see what on Earth is taking so long! For anyone that's seen him lately, he's grown out a full beard so I told him he should walk in there and be like "Do you see my face?!? I can't even afford a razor! Now, are you taking me or NOT because if not, I need to get a JOB!" But of course Terry isn't that rough. I'm not sure exactly how the conversation went, but APPARENTLY we're dealing with a bunch of SLACKERS because even though Terry did his consult, what?.... THREE WEEKS AGO, they just sent his file in on Wednesday the 17th! I can't believe it. I'm angry that they don't understand that they are messing with people's lives here! Anyways, newest answer was "You should get some good news back by Monday".

Yeah, we'll see.

TOBY IS GETTING BIG!

A few people warned me about the hard work that Labs are, but OH MY GOSH, he's driving me insane!! I still love him though... How can you resist this face??

HAPPY SHAMROCK DAY!

Yay! A holiday! :] Today ran pretty smoothly, I had tons of fun with all my kiddies at work. We decorated a box to catch a leprechaun (that only comes if you take a nap of course!) and everyone added their own bit of decorations! We don't have any St. Patrick's book at work, surprisingly so instead I read a book about elves and one about trolls, I just changed them into leprechauns. The kids didn't know the difference and they loved them! For lunch we had kiwi, green eggs & ham! YUM! It was a fun day!

After work Terry and I decided to cash in some gift cards and go out to dinner to have corned beef and cabbage! Kia came with us and we had a really good time! Nathyn was so funny telling me, "You better eat Mommy! FASTER FASTER!" Apparently I was talking to much for him! haha He danced through his whole meal and was SO funny! After we left he started chasing me around a pillar outside and boy did I think I was gonna die! I need to start excersising SOON! I'm hoping to get an excersise buddy because I just DON'T have the will to do it alone.

WAITING...

So STILL no word back from the ARMY. Waiting... waiting... it's killing me. Terry not working is REALLY starting to take a toll on our financial situation in a very bad way. I'm feeling pretty miserable these days, miserable as in completely helpless. I just want to know what's going on so that life can move on, hopefully in a GOOD direction. Anyways, here's some pictures from the past two weeks. Hopefully I'm feeling up to blogging again towards the end of the weekend. I'm taking Nathyn to a daycare kid's birthday party, my boss's baby shower, and I'll have Gracie for a little bit on Sunday! HOORAY! I'm taking her to get her first pictures ever!
